Who we are and what this notice covers
BackBond Inc. ("BackBond," "we," "us") is responsible for personal information handled through this website and related business inquiries. This notice covers browsing, request forms, email inquiries, and scheduling. The scanner has separate privacy information and service terms describing agent test inputs, credentials, transcripts, and results.
Information we receive and why
When you browse, our hosting providers may process your IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, and timestamps to deliver the website, maintain security, and diagnose errors. The marketing website has no user accounts or payments. Request forms use Netlify Forms to receive and store business inquiries.
When you submit a request, we receive your name, work email, company, optional agent description and partner code, and the request type and source page. These details are stored in our Netlify project and may be copied to our business email to notify our team. We use them to provide starter-scan access and instructions, respond to inquiries, and discuss assessments or partnerships. Submitting a request does not start a scan or subscribe you to promotional emails. Do not include credentials, customer data, or confidential agent payloads.
Scheduling and external services
When we provide a Calendly booking link, it opens Calendly's website. Calendly is not embedded in this website and its scripts do not load merely because you visit this page. If you book, the meeting host receives your contact information, booking responses, meeting details and time zone. Calendly processes scheduling information under its own applicable notices and its arrangements with the host. See Calendly's privacy notice. Contact us at info@backbond.ai if you prefer to arrange a call by email.
Optional website measurement
If you allow Google Analytics, Google receives website-usage information, including public page views, browser information and cookie identifiers. We send page addresses without query strings or fragments and disable advertising personalization. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
If you allow Apollo, its tracker runs on our Global and United States landing pages to identify visiting companies. Apollo may process browser, IP-address, page-visit and cookie information under its privacy policy. Our Apollo domain is configured for company-only tracking.
Both are optional and remain off until you choose them. Use the Privacy choices button to change your selection. We retain your choice in this browser for 180 days; provider cookies may remain until you clear them. Refusing does not affect scan access. We do not install these trackers on scan or report pages or send inquiry fields, credentials, test messages, agent responses or reports through them. We do not use session recording or advertising pixels.
Cookies and analytics
On backbond.ai, our hosting provider uses the country associated with your IP address to choose the initial market: United States or Global. If you select a market, we save that choice in a first-party preference cookie for 90 days. Your choice takes priority over automatic location routing. You can change it using the market selector or remove it by clearing this website’s cookies. The cookie contains only your market choice, not inquiry details. Optional website measurement is described below. We do not sell personal information collected through this website or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Hosting security and operational request processing can still occur. External websites, including booking pages, have their own cookie and privacy settings.
Recipients and international processing
Information may be available to authorized BackBond personnel and service providers supporting hosting, email, calendars and business communications, as needed for those functions. This website is hosted by Netlify. A separate design-review version is hosted by Vercel. Service providers' own privacy notices do not replace BackBond's responsibilities for information it controls.
We may disclose information where required by law, to respond to valid legal requests, protect rights or security, or to professional advisers and parties involved in a business transaction, subject to applicable protections. BackBond is a US company; information may be processed in the United States or other countries where the relevant providers operate. Where applicable law requires safeguards for an international transfer, those requirements apply. Contact info@backbond.ai for information about the providers and safeguards relevant to your inquiry.
Retention and security
We retain inquiry records in Netlify Forms and related email or scheduling systems for as long as needed to respond and manage any resulting business relationship, subject to applicable recordkeeping requirements and disputes. Retention depends on the purpose and progress of the inquiry; no automatic deletion period is promised for website inquiries. You can request deletion at info@backbond.ai. Scanner-record retention is described separately in the scanner Privacy Notice. No internet transmission or storage method is completely secure.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the laws that apply to you, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of your personal information, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, or opt out of certain uses. Where a legal basis is required, responding to requested business inquiries and protecting the website may rely on legitimate interests, taking requested steps before a contract, legal obligations or consent, as appropriate to the activity. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
Send requests to info@backbond.ai. We may ask for proportionate information to verify your identity and an authorized agent's authority. We will respond within the applicable legal timeframe and explain any permitted refusal or extension. To appeal a privacy request decision, reply to the decision or email the same address with the subject "Privacy appeal." You may also complain to the relevant privacy regulator or state attorney general. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
Children and changes
This business website is intended for adults acting in a professional capacity, not children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can address it. We may update this notice as our services or practices change. The date above identifies the current version; material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law.
